Albany – Speed & Agility Holiday Clinic (Ages 11–13) The UNCAPD Speed & Agility Holiday Clinic (Ages 11–13) is designed to help developing athletes build strong foundations in speed, coordination, and movement efficiency ahead of the winter sports season. At this stage of development, athletes benefit from structured coaching that reinforces correct sprint mechanics and movement patterns. This clinic focuses on teaching athletes how to accelerate effectively, control their body during changes of direction, and move with greater confidence and efficiency. Across the two sessions, athletes will complete a series of structured drills targeting acceleration technique, agility, footwork, and reactive movement. Sessions combine technical coaching with engaging drills and competitive activities to reinforce skill development. Athletes will also complete 20m Sprint Testing using laser timing technology, providing an accurate measurement of sprint speed and acceleration. This allows athletes to receive objective performance feedback while helping coaches identify key technical areas for improvement. The clinic is ideal for athletes participating in rugby, football, netball, hockey, basketball, and other field or court sports where speed and agility are important performance qualities. All sessions are delivered by experienced youth performance coaches in a structured and supportive environment.
