Speed & Agility Clinic - St Johns
July School Holidays | UNCAPD Foundations & Development (Ages 8-12)
Service Description
St Johns – Speed & Agility Holiday Clinic (Ages 8–12) The UNCAPD Speed & Agility Holiday Clinic (Ages 8–12) is designed to help young athletes build strong movement foundations, improve coordination, and develop confidence in their speed and agility heading into the winter sports season. At this stage of development, athletes benefit most from learning efficient movement patterns in a structured and supportive environment. Across the two clinic sessions, athletes will be coached through sprint mechanics, acceleration technique, agility movements, and reactive coordination drills that help improve overall athletic ability across a wide range of sports. Sessions focus heavily on movement quality and technical development, helping athletes learn how to move efficiently, accelerate effectively, and change direction with better control and balance. The clinic is designed to be engaging, age-appropriate, and high energy while maintaining strong coaching standards and structured progression. Athletes will also complete 20m Sprint Testing using laser timing technology. Laser timing systems provide highly accurate performance data and are commonly used within professional and high-performance sporting environments. This allows athletes to receive objective feedback on their sprint speed and acceleration ability. Training is delivered in small groups with experienced youth performance coaches to ensure athletes receive clear instruction, strong supervision, and individual coaching support throughout the clinic. This clinic is ideal for athletes participating in sports such as rugby, football, netball, basketball, hockey, cricket, tennis, athletics, and other sports that require speed, coordination, agility, and movement efficiency.
